Founded in 1995, Port Moresby National School of Excellence is one of Papua New Guinea’s leading Schools of Excellence, providing quality education for Grades 11 and 12 students in Waigani, Port Moresby. Recognized for its strong academic performance, discipline, and leadership development, the school prepares students for higher education and future careers through a comprehensive curriculum that includes Mathematics, Sciences, Information Technology, Business Studies, Humanities, and STEM focused programs. As the only national high school in Papua New Guinea operating as a day school, it welcomes talented students from all 22 provinces, promoting diversity, unity, and cultural appreciation.
Beyond academics, Port Moresby National School of Excellence is committed to nurturing integrity, leadership, and personal growth while encouraging students to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
